Originaltext Beipackzettell, der bei meiner Puppe nicht dabei war:

"The following simple instructions should be observed:

1) The PEDIGREE walking doll stands quit erecton its own to feet.
2) To make the doll sit down, hold it firmly and move the legs -
ON AT A TIME - forward at right angles to the body. IT IS MOST
IMPORTANT THAT ONLY ONE LEG BE MOVE AT A TIME.
This also applies to straightening the legs.

3) Walking: See that the doll is standing in an upright position
with both arms at its side. Move the arms nearest to you upwards and
forwards until you feel that is fully extended, so that the doll is standing
with one arm outstretched. Hold the doll firmly by the hand and wrist,
and lead it forward by putting the weight of the doll on the leg which
is not moving, so as to anable the other leg to take one pace forward.
Keep the doll upright all the time,
rocking it slightly from side to side during walking."
